The Cookin Chicks

I met this wonderful friend from my mom's group and we connected fast!We seem to have a lot in common! Kristin is the same age as me and is a mom of 3 kids and has a wonderful hubby and they have been married for 6 years they are also believers! It's so crazy how God brought her and her family into our lifes! I feel so lucky!
Anyways we both really enjoy cooking for our family's. We started passing a long recipes ideas to each others and thought that it would be so much fun to start a blog with all our recipes! Right now we have a temp one until we get the other one up and running! Please check it out and share with others that like to cook and try new things! Enjoy it!!

Spring BBQ

We had another nice weekend! That is so exciting because we haven't had a lot of nice weekends. We invited over david's family for a bbq and then after dinner we roasted some marshmallow's! We all had a really nice time!

Spring Fair 2012

We yet had another nice weekend so we took the kids to the spring fair. We looked around at all the things they had and then we were the crazy parents waiting in the very long lines for the rides. Matthew got to go on two rides and then play one game! I get really freaked out with the rides but he really had fun doing them! They also had something there called deep fried butter. It was so gross that people were eatting this stuff that I had to take a picture of the sign. No I didnt try it. I'm not that crazy. YUCK!

T-Ball 2012

Matthew has started his first t-ball league! It's ages 3 and 4. So far he has really love going. He first game is May 5th. That will be so much fun to see how that turns out LOL.

Easter Dinner

We had my family over for Easter dinner. Food was wonderful and having everyone one over was really nice too! We missed a few of our family but understand why they were unable to make it. We thought about them and prayed for them at dinner time.
Hope everyone had a nice Easter as well!

Happy Easter 2012

The night before Easter Matthew put down some magic beans (jelly beans) and in the morning the will grow into lollipops! Matthew thought that was so cool to see when he woke up!

Also the Easter bunny made it to our house with some goodies for the kids for Easter! After the kids got to look though what the Easter bunny brought for them they then found out that he/she left behinds some Easter eggs for them to find!

They both really enjoy there time besides the little guy came down with a high fever but he still had a good time!

It was a nice spring day and David was washing the cars. Tyler was outside play with his car and came by and asked Matthew if he wanted to go for a ride in his car. It was so cute to see them together driving. Tyler was pushing the gas and Matthew was steering the wheel!
They are so cute!

Easter Egg Hunt

Lake Wilderness always dose a really big Easter egg hunt for the kids. They brake it down into age groups which is really nice because you don't want the big kids to stomp on the little ones. I was with Brooklynn and David was with Matthew. Brooklynn was a champ at getting the eggs I was so cool to watch her. She has so many eggs I had to make her stop because her eggs were basket was over filled. David said that Matthew would run and get a egg and want to open it right away to see what was inside. They both had a lot of fun and we will be back next year to do it all over again!!

Dying Easter Eggs 2012

We were all excited to decorate easter eggs! Matthew was so excited to do this he didn't want to stop but we didn't buy too many eggs just in case he didn't want to do it. Will was I wrong. Next year we will be buying a lot more to decorate! Brooklynn thought it was fun too! She would just drop them right in! Happy Easter!
