Christmas Eve 2011

Christmas Eve this year we went to my parents house. My mom did italian for dinner. I do have to say it was really yummy! We open gifts for the kids after dinner! They thought that was a lot of fun! After we left my parents house we came home to open one gift for everyone (I did this every year as a child it is always new pj's) Matthew loved his new woody pjs and Brooklynn got reindeer ones! Before bed matthew left so cookies and pourd chocolate milk for Santa. He was so excited for Santa to come to his house!

Christmas Cookies

Matthew and I had a lot of fun decorating cookies! Matthew was having so much fun that he didn't want to stop! I have never seen him so into something like this before. It was so nice to see him really enjoying this! I'm not going to lie I had a lot of fun doing it too! Check out our cookies we made!

Brooklynn got to eat one too! She was happy about that! :)

Thanksgiving 2011

Our turkey friend!

My wonderful family! I feel so blessed!

We had David's mom and dad over for thanksgiving this year! We cooked up some really good food! It was the 2nd time that I have cooked a turkey and I was a little freaked out but it truned out really good! I was so happy! Before Thanksgiving Matthew was my little helper in changing the turkey's water and making sure that it was still in the water. He would always go and check on him! It was his turkey friend :)
With all that said I can't wait to eat some more turkey! Yummy Yum!

Back in October 2011

I know I have been a little bit behind in bloging so I better catch up! Back in October the leafs were falling and right by our house we had a lot of trees where their lefts were falling off so we walked over and david took son pictures of us playing in them! Enjoy.

Toy story On Ice 2011

Matthew has been really into Buzz and Woody! We saw that they were coming to Kent and thought It would be something really fun for Matthew. My mom came over to watch Brooklynn and David and I took Matthew to go see Toy Story! We got seats right in front so he could be close with all of them! He LOVED it so much! Everytime someones says Matthew what did you do today he says See Buzz and Woody lol! David and I both had a fun time as well! It's a good show! Its a much go see if you have kids!

Halloween 2011

We took the kids out this year for trick or treating. Matthew had so much fun and Brooklynn just went for a wagon ride! It was so cold this year but no raining! Matthew went with buddies Tyler and Dylan! The boys would run up to the door to ring the door bell it was fun! There were a few houses where the boys didn't want to go up to the door (I don't blame them). Enjoy the pictures.

Finger Painting

I was getting the kids ready to do a Thanksgiving art project and when we were all done I let Brooklynn go crazy and do some finger painting for her first time! She liked it until she put her hands in her month and start to freak out because it didn't taste so yummy.
