Snow day

We had a lot of snow come our away! We had fun playing in it making snowmen! Brooklynn was not a fan of it at all. We also did some shaving cream art to keep busy! What a fun day that was!

Christmas Evening 2011

We had everyone come over to our house for dinner. It was so nice to have both families there to enjoy the holidays together. It was very busy but a lot of fun! After everyone left David and I made homemade cinnamon rolls because we were going to my aunt and uncles for Christmas brunch. They cinnamon rolls took us a good 3 hours if not longer to make. It was a lot of waiting. So for christmas from Rob and Judy I got pictionary with the little white guy you color on. David and I played that until they were done. We had the best time playing that game! It was a really good night!

Christmas Morning 2011

Matthew was up really early I think he was up about 5am we tried to get him to go back to sleep but that was not going to happen. We stayed in bed until 7:30am in hopes that we all could go back to sleep but no luck. We all got up and we woke brooklynn up to get in on all the fun! Matthew thought it was so cool when he come downstairs to see all the gifts and Santas footprints. What a fun morning we all had!

Christmas Eve 2011

Christmas Eve this year we went to my parents house. My mom did italian for dinner. I do have to say it was really yummy! We open gifts for the kids after dinner! They thought that was a lot of fun! After we left my parents house we came home to open one gift for everyone (I did this every year as a child it is always new pj's) Matthew loved his new woody pjs and Brooklynn got reindeer ones! Before bed matthew left so cookies and pourd chocolate milk for Santa. He was so excited for Santa to come to his house!

Christmas Cookies

Matthew and I had a lot of fun decorating cookies! Matthew was having so much fun that he didn't want to stop! I have never seen him so into something like this before. It was so nice to see him really enjoying this! I'm not going to lie I had a lot of fun doing it too! Check out our cookies we made!

Brooklynn got to eat one too! She was happy about that! :)

Thanksgiving 2011

Our turkey friend!

My wonderful family! I feel so blessed!

We had David's mom and dad over for thanksgiving this year! We cooked up some really good food! It was the 2nd time that I have cooked a turkey and I was a little freaked out but it truned out really good! I was so happy! Before Thanksgiving Matthew was my little helper in changing the turkey's water and making sure that it was still in the water. He would always go and check on him! It was his turkey friend :)
With all that said I can't wait to eat some more turkey! Yummy Yum!

Back in October 2011

I know I have been a little bit behind in bloging so I better catch up! Back in October the leafs were falling and right by our house we had a lot of trees where their lefts were falling off so we walked over and david took son pictures of us playing in them! Enjoy.
