25 weeks pregnant

Yesterday we had our EKG on the baby (we do this every two weeks). What happens at these appointments is that it's just like a ultrasound but the only thing they are looking at is that baby's heart and it takes about 25 minuets to 30 minuets to do so.

At our last EKG they told us that the hole in the baby's heart is all gone!! He also told us that baby's heart is healthy but on the brink of being abnormal and that they are going to keep watching it every two weeks. He said if things are not getting better we will be moved to being seen every week and if things are getting worse then he will put me in the hospital to watch baby closer. We pray that things will get better and we won't need to go that way. So right now things are just all right.

Our next appointment will be July 9th and at this appointment Matthew and Brooklynn will also get a EKG done because they never had one when they were newborns and the doctor wants to just make sure that there little hearts are doing well! I'm very sad that this was not looked at when I was pregnant with them because things could of been 100 times worse but thank God he was watching over myself and the kids and we didn't have any problems!

We had our OB appointment today and it went well baby heart was doing well and I'm right on track with growth! Next time I see my OB I will have to drink they yummy (NOT) drink for the glucose test. We also will be doing more ultrasounds to watch the growth of the baby these will be done every two weeks along with watching the growth of the baby I will also be doing stressed testing. Yes I have a lot of things going on this time just because I have the blood clotting. It's a lot and I feel so luck that David has been with me at all these appointment. It's really nice to have someone by your side when you just get one thing after another.

David and I were talking today and it's so crazy to think that we only have 3 more months until our little bundle of joy will join our family! It's so crazy to think about! I think Matthew and Brooklynn are going to be amazing little brother and sister! I'm excited to find out the sex of the baby and show Matthew and Brooklynn there new little brother or sister! I feel so lucky to grow our family to one more little one! Kids are a blessing from God that is for sure! It might be hard but It's so wonderful!! Let that count down begin!!

Father's Day 2012

Happy Father's day to the most amazing man ever!!!

Well this year I did a lot of looking around for idea's to do for Father's day this year. I came a crossed a cute idea on pintrest and it was a super DAD theme! I feel in love with it and that was the one I stuck with! It was so much fun to put together! The kid's made homemade Father's day cards and we made (they watched) super DAD cupcakes! I also made the kids super DAD t-shirts to wear for the day!

In the morning I got up early to get everything ready. I made David favorite breakfast (Cinnamon rolls) and strawberry, banana smoothies! I got David and the kids up to see all the fun stuff! Matthew thought it was so cool and Brooklynn loved the balloons! I also had the theme song from superman play in the background when he came downstairs!

For dinner we got David's favorite stuff. Steak, homemade potato salad (no egg) and watermelon( that might be my favorite! ;-). Yes I made him BBQ on Father's day but he is so good at it so why not and he enjoys doing it so I don't think he mind ;-).

Camping trip @ Lake Kacahess 2012

We did a family camping trip last weekend with my uncle,aunt, my mom,dad,sister,her kids and 3 of my cousins and two dogs. The first night was nice. We got there and got all set up and David and Matthew did some fishing. The night got super cold. I didn't sleep very well with being sick and 23 week pregnant. The kids did really well. Brooklynn had to sleep with daddy for a few Min's and then David put her back in the pack and play and she cried for a few Min's and then was out like a light. Matthew loved sleeping in the tent he thought it was a lot of fun!

The next day it was raining all day long so we decide to go home that night just because it was really cold and I was not up for sleeping the freezing cold again.

Besides it being cold it was nice to hang out with my family and do some outdoor things and it was nice to get away! We are hoping to do it a few more times before new baby comes!

20 weeks pregnant

I made it!! I'm half way though this pregnancy. It's so crazy to think that baby will be here in this world in 5 months. I'm not going to lie I'm a little sad that this is the last time I will be pregnant but I'm very glad that we are able to have one more! I'm all about having a big family! More to LOVE!!!

I'm feel pretty well. Someday I have lots of energy and I love cooking and cleaning but most of them time I'm really tired. I'm really showing now because I have people asking me when I'm due.
Matthew talks about he new baby that is coming! Its so exciting for him! I think he is going to be a big help!! Brooklynn talks about baby I think just because Matthew talks about it but it's cute she would kiss my belly! I feel so lucky to have two wonderful little ones and so excited to bring one more into our family!!
Most know but we aren't finding out the sex of the baby this time around. It has been really hard because that means I can't do any kind of shopping for new baby clothes which we are in need of because we sold all newborn and 3 months clothing. It's also really hard because baby's room is going to be a tan color until we know the sex of the baby and then we will paint the bottom half of the wall pink or blue!

In the long run I think it will be fun to find out at the very end and calling family and friends and telling them the sex of the little one!! What a fun surprise for everyone!

Painting Bird houses for our birds outside

The kids and I went to the craft store to get stuff so they could paint bird houses. They really enjoyed painting them. Brooklynn loved it so much she started to yell at me when I had to clean her up. It was so crazy how much she loved this. Matthew is not much of a art kid but he really enjoyed doing this too! It was so much fun watching them enjoy this! Our next project is painting flower pots and putting herds into them!! They are so excited!

By the way they got there balloon hats at the new fred meyers by our house that just opened up! They had really fun clowns there and the kids got these! Brooklynn hated the clown so much she wouldn't look at them at all but she loved her elmo hat! Matthew thought the clowns were so cool!! He thinks they are there every time we go now! :)

Spring Time

We had a nice weekend a few weeks ago and we thought It would be fun to get Matthew and Brooklynn some water toys. David came a cross this slip and slide. Matthew just loved this thing! It was so cute to watch him!
The best part was David showing Matthew had to do it! I didn't get a picture of David trying it out but It was sure funny!!!

Mother's Day 2012

The day before Mother's day we went to my parents house to have dinner and hang out with the family! We had a wonderful time! The kids always love play with Jamie and Taylar!

We always were celebrating my birthday! My mom went out to Papa Murphy's and got there new pizza party thing they have. You buy just the dough, cheese and sauce and the kids made there own pizza! The kid's really enjoyed making there own! It was so much fun to watch them!
